Beaches Curacao

Curacao beaches. On Curaçao you will find countless paradisiacal beaches: white sand, azure blue sea and always that nice breeze. Below we list the most popular beaches for you. From Villa South Beach you are so.

Close to the villa (approx. 7 min. drive)

One of the most famous beaches. Many facilities and fine beach clubs (including Zanzibar & Zest). Popular and lively. Diving, snorkeling, flyboarding or kayaking: you can do it all here.
  • Mambo Beachpaid access
Boulevard with restaurants, stores and beach bars. Bustling in high season; more relaxed outside with many families. Showers and toilets available.
  • Cabana Beach & MOODpaid access
Luxury beach next to Mambo. Comfortable beds, great service and everything at your fingertips for a relaxing beach day.

Popular beaches with facilities

Cozy coves & snorkeling spots

  • Playa Lagunfree access
Cozy cove between high rocks, often quiet. Known for spotting turtles while snorkeling. A bar sits atop the rocks.
  • Big Knip (Playa Kenepa Grandi)free entry
Favorite with locals – especially crowded on Sundays. Simple facilities (snack, toilets, sunbeds). Magnificent sea color.
  • Playa Grandi / Playa Piskadófree access
Fishing beach where you often see turtles. Pebble beach and few sunbeds; more for watching/snorkeling than lying around all day.
  • Playa Kalkifree access
Idyllic, popular with (experienced) divers. The sea can have a stronger current here; less suitable with young children. Diving school and restaurant available.

Worth a day trip

  • Klein Curaçaoby boat
Uninhabited island about 25 km away: snow-white sand, crystal clear water and a beautiful reef for snorkeling. Day trips depart daily; you’ll often see shipwrecks and the iconic pink lighthouse.
